Clara Covey is an artisan hatmaker from California, currently based in Northwest Arkansas. She studied the hatmaking trade in Florence, Italy to further pursue her passion for handcrafted items, develop new skills, and bring her love of fine goods to a wider audience on her return to the United States. Clara believes that the things we bring along with us on our journeys ought to be beautiful as well as practical, and should be made to go wherever our voyage takes us.

Clara is the heart and hands behind Voyager, and the person who individually designs and shapes each piece. From blocking and shaping the crown to wrapping the band, Clara does it all — and does it with love and intention.
